Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Tulip Pink!

I had to get more of these Moisture Renew Lipsticks that I reviewed earlier. I've used Coral Queen many times despite the fact that it's very bright and out of my comfort zone. I love the texture and the color!

I got another bright color called Tulip Pink. It is a pink color but with warm undertones.

To me this color definitely has some warmer tones and reminds me of strawberry melba. But then in different lighting it can look more cool...pretty anyways!

Here's Tulip Pink next to Coral Queen, just for comparison. Does it look like a rasberry color in here? I really don't know how to describe the different tones of this pink.

A very lovely pink indeed and I love how these lipsticks give me a nice glossy look.

Thanks for reading!

Ps. This is how a beauty blogger's hand looks like after a stroll in the super market... :)

Review: Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer in Phenomenon! :)

I'm on a lip product kick, which is odd because I usually only wear lipbalm and gloss. But now I have got me some more lip colors and actually been wearing them too!

I got one of the the new Apocalips Lip Laquers from Rimmel. I've been looking for a peachy nude lip gloss, but ended up getting this lip laquer because it was just too pretty to leave behind. I got the color called Phenomenon, it's a light peachy nude. I had also heard good things about these so it was an easy purchase.

The applicator is the nice sponge type that I'm very fond of. It makes the application quick and precise. I like the packaging too, looks very sleek and pretty.

The color is just perfect! I've been looking for a nice peachy nude that has good goverage but doesn't make my lips look too nude. You know what I mean? I have very pink and pigmented lips on my own, so usually when I'm not wearing anything on my lips, it still looks like I am. So going from pink lips to nude lips is actually a quite drastic change for me, so I need a sheer color that has a hint of color. I am very fair, so too nude colors just look very very wrong on me.

These are very pigmented! Only a little amount goes a long way and gives a nice flush of color. It covers my natural lips completely and last a pretty long time too. It doesn't feel drying or feel that I have something on my lips. I usually wear some lipbalm over it to make it look a bit more natural since I am new to wearing color on my lips. And this peachy color is a perfect match for me! Makes my skin look glowy somehow. It's such a pretty color!

I paid around 8€ of mine, and I must say it has been worth every penny! Rimmel has done some pretty good job here. I highly recommend these!

Review: Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks in Coral Queen & Nude Delight!

Remeber that one post about the red lipstick from Rimmel? Yes, well, I ended up never wearing that color out in public. I just can't pull off bright colors, is that it?

However, now I've been mysteriously wanting to add some lip colors in my collection. I don't know why, I never wear them..it's a mystery.
Despite that, I got two of the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks, Coral Queen and Nude Delight. Here's my review!

I have actually surprised myself. I did wear Coral Queen out in public the other day! I paired it with a minimal eye makeup and it looked quite niceand summery. It's hard to get used to bright colors on my lips since lipbalm  and gloss are usually the only ones I wear. I didn't use a lip liner and I did add some lip balm on top just to make it look a little more natural, but I wore it anyway :)

The texture is quite nice, it is moisturizing but still quite pigmented. It lasted ok, considering I used it without priming my lips and just added  a tiny amount of color. And to color is just amazing, a warm coral red. I love it!

Nude Delight has the same moisturizing consistency. Unfortunately the color was totally wrong for me, I thought it was lighter, to me it's not actually nude, just a light brown with a hint of warm peachy tone. Didn't look nice with my pale complexion.

Overall, I think these are easy to wear type of lipsticks. You can wear them on their own, lightly, or to full color. Feels nice on the lips! And you have love the cheap price, I paid around 6€ of each, lovely :)

I don't know if they are discontinuing these Moisture Renews because I have been seeing them on sale a lot. I hope not! I want to try more colors. What are your favourite moisturizing lipsticks? Feel free to leave me your recommendations  :)
